The hospital expanded from 50 to 120 beds by 2012 (cwsrkl.org). The addition of the ICU and HDU, with 12 beds, enables management of critically ill patients requiring close monitoring . The wards are serviced by specialists, nurses, physiotherapists, and dieticians, ensuring comprehensive and patient-centered care.

CWS hosts specialty outpatient services encompassing cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, dermatology, psychiatry, and more. A roster of qualified doctors ensures regular OPD coverage, facilitating early diagnosis and ongoing follow-up care.

Blood Bank Centre & Blood Transfusion Services

  • Support emergency and surgical transfusion requirements.

A licensed blood bank operates at CWS Hospital (cwsrkl.org). It ensures all blood donations are screened per national standards. Though component availability may vary, transfusion (SOP) protocols are followed meticulously.

Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Towards a pain free life, restore mobility and encourage healthy life style through therapeutic rehabilitation.
To restore mobility and enhance quality of life through therapeutic rehabilitation.

Objectives

  • Provide physiotherapy to support surgical recovery, chronic conditions, and mobility issues.

  • Train patients and caregivers in home support techniques.

  • To restore maintain & promote optimal physical function & well being through physical assessment program.

  • Support long term health & functional independence.

  • Educate the patients & family for home exercise program (HEP)

Elaboration

Physiotherapists work closely with clinical teams for integrated care, musculoskeletal condition neurological condition, back pain, stroke, and sports injury. PO op recovery ergonomically education as well as palliative care support.
