AN OVERVIEW
The department of Ophthalmology in Community Welfare Society Hospital started functioning in 2009 under the care Dr. M K Das. Now with the installation of Sovereign Compact Phaco-emulsifier System, Phaco-emulsification with foldable IOL implantation is being performed routinely since 2014. The department which began its journey with minimum facilities has grown to a dependable eye-care centre in the region now.
